Discover Oriental Dance's Magic

Oriental dance originated in Egypt. It has evolved considerably over the centuries and was popularized by Egyptian cinema in the 1930s, 40s, and 50s. Today, it is practiced all over the world (by both women and men) and is recognized not only for its beauty but also for its health benefits.

Contrary to what many people might think, there are many different dance styles depending on the country.

Each style has its own technique and history, making the world of Oriental Dance incredibly rich and diverse.

Born in Switzerland, Alba began dancing at a very young age. After 12 years of classical dance at the Cilette Faust Academy in Sion, she discovered the fascinating world of oriental dance.

She began her training with Sakina, then perfected her skills with great masters such as Yzza, Mayodi Sultan, Yaël Zarca, Dr. Mo Geddawi, Luisa Cordero, Sadie Marquardt, and Tito Seif.

In March 2019, she won 2nd place in the 'Rising Star' category of the Tito Seif Sadaf Cup at the Sadaf Oriental Dance Festival.

In March 2022, she won 1st place in the 'Rising Star' category at the 4th edition of the Sadaf Festival in Cairo, Egypt.

She gives oriental dance classes at Tendanses Dance Scool in Sierre (VS)
